Their challenge is to each create an original song based on a theme agreed in the previous episode. They are not ‘musicians’, and mainly seem to use GarageBand.

Over the duration of the series, they’ve accumulated quite a lot of these songs, which were today released as a compilation on iTunes - and this is one of my favourites.

Buy Song Wars Vol. 1 on iTunes Plus

CHRISTMAS SHOPPING AT THE ALLNIGHT GARAGE

woopwoop:FUGAZI // Furniture // 20,851 plays on Last.fmHere’s...

woopwoop:

FUGAZI EP that accompanied their last album, The Argument.

Basic, funky and forthright, it definitely feels like early-era Fugazi (before Picciotto joined in on guitar), comfortably sitting somewhere between 13 Songs’ Waiting Room and Suggestion, now with the snappy percussion of a drummer who’s had a decade in which to polish his act.

My first post on WoopWoop.

(via garfieldminusgarfield)Damn straight, Jon, damn straight.

(via garfieldminusgarfield)

Damn straight, Jon, damn straight.

Visualisations of Doctor Who episodes via subtitles

Visualisations of Doctor Who episodes via subtitles:
megpickard:

Beautiful work by Matthew Sommerville

TODAY ON XANTIAR - Another clip from Adam Buxton’s...

TODAY ON XANTIAR - Another clip from Adam Buxton’s MeeBox.

woopwoop:Slint - Good Morning, CaptainFrom 1991’s Spiderland,...

woopwoop:

Slint
