When I read a Yahoo! news story saying that Justin Lee Collins will be hosting a new gameshow on Five “which will see contestants toss a coin to win up to one million pounds” I thought it was a joke.
Someone had duped Yahoo! into publishing a fake press release.
But not. It is real. It’s a gameshow about tossing a fucking coin.
Or it is? Initially it sounds laughably basic. But when you listen to Justin trying to explain the rules (above), it seems they have managed to turn it into some kind of Deal or No Deal guessing game so convoluted that it begins to sound a lot like Quizzlestick.
